Magazine clutch purses were the IT bag of the 1970s and this purse is making a big comeback as fashion recycles itself once again, (as seen with Kendall Jenner courtesy of Vogue Magazine shown in photo, 9/2017 - same Magazine brand - Elegance - different cover.) The Elegance´ magazine covered couture items and was a mix of Vogue and sewing magazine. Fun plastic clutch as it used a magazine cover incased in plastic with a vinyl strap snap closure. My favorite detailing is the faux pages near the opening; Inside is fully lined in rayon with 1 side slit pocket and plenty of room for a night out.
These bags being approximately 50 years old and extremely fragile can be hard to find in good working condition without multiple scratches, cracking, peeling, strap problems etc. This bag is in very good shape, interior is clean and the outside of the bag has minimal scratches.
